Mazal Tov! Mazal Tov !

We are pleased to announce the birth of our lovely new daughter Chaya Menucha Sunday May 5 on Lag B'omer!  She was named this morning by the Torah Chaya Menucha is named after Leah's grandmother Chayka Feldman whose 1st yartzeit is this  Thursday she passed away last year in Kfar Chabad Israel 22 of Iyar.

Chaya means "alive, living." Chaya is related to the name Chava, who appears in the Torah as the first woman. Menucha means "tranquility" in Hebrew.

On this Date in the Jewish Calendar:

Lag B'Omer -- literally the "33rd day of the Omer" -- marks the yahrtzeit (death) of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. This is a day of great celebration, as on this day Rabbi Shimon revealed the Kabbalistic teachings of "The Zohar." To celebrate Lag B'Omer, Jews around the world light huge bonfires, symbolically illuminating the deeper truths of Torah, as revealed by Rabbi Shimon.
